A Mentoring Program for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury and Their Families
This program will evaluate the impact and efficacy of a mentoring partnership program for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families by assessing changes in access to information about TBI, quality of life, community integration, mood, sense of empowerment, and self-efficacy in individuals receiving mentoring versus those who do not. This program will link trained mentors who are 'veterans' of brain injury with others who have more recently experienced TBI - in themselves or in members of their family.
